Todd Daugherty, in the news again...
We have received multiple reports of complaints sent to Wal-mart HQ regarding Karol Madera's good friend Todd Daugherty. Complaints have detailed threats made by Daugherty, and his alleged association with what is said to be a website long known to be a host for child pornography. Daugherty hosts his own animated depictions of children being raped and tortured at the website in question. It has been reported that complaints have also been made regarding threats with sexual overtones which Daugherty made against a 13 year old boy. We will update our readers with any news we receive regarding complaints to the Walmart hierarchy, concerning Todd Daugherty, N9OGL.
We have also received a copy of the first, of what we suspect may be a deluge of letters, directed to the FAA, as Todd Daugherty, N9OGL, attempts to obtain a license to fly an airplane. You may recall that Daugherty was Warned by the FCC twice, and visited by the FBI, at least once, for alleged violations of federal law. See the letter here. Personal information has been redacted, due to a documented history of slander, libel, and physical threats directed toward complainants by the notorious Walmart cart pusher from Illinois.
Mark Morgan, KB9RQZ, in the news again...
There are those who help to "make the season bright" and then there are those who seem to do everything in their power to make others miserable. Such is the case with Karol Madera's current head cheerleader, Mark Morgan, KB9RQZ, of Tapiola, Michigan. Morgan, according to his blog, is kinky, bi-sexual, religiously preoccupied, and into bondage, domination, and sado-masochism. In November, 2007, Morgan made malicious, false reports to child protective services about seven men in seven different states, claiming they were involved in "child pandering." These false reports brought Mark Morgan to the attention of the FBI and his local law enforcement agencies.
Morgan is simultaneously sexually obsessed with men named Dan, Dloyd, Steve, DeLorean, and several others. Morgan has ruined usenet newsgroups for years, flooding them with literally, tens of thousands of cryptic, nonsensical messages. Morgan has stated that he is being pursued, online, by various phantom suitors, who, in reality, do not exist, except in Morgan's tortured mind.
On his blog, Morgan writes, "yes I have assited cooperated with Karol Maderia VE7KFM . wehy? belong why not he is the efoe of my foes and therefore if not my friend at least my ally any aid I render him helps me."
Like Karol Madera, Morgan is frankly delusional, with a history of ranting, raving, and threatening others. Morgan, like Madera, also has a history of serious mental health issues. Morgan and Madera are both well known to law enforcement, and persons of interest in various unsolved crimes.
This summer, just prior to his ouster from the CCRAA radio club, Morgan claimed he shot and wounded a teenaged boy. Morgan's account was discounted by police as "just another bizarre delusion," however, Mark Morgan's behavior and false accusations represent a clear danger to the families he has stalked and defamed.
In point of fact, it will come as no surprise to anyone if Mark Morgan is once again transported to Marquette, Michigan for psychiatric evaluation and treatment. Various online accounts state that Morgan has begun defecating in his own back yard; sending out false SOS distress calls on the radio; interfering with US Coast Guard transmissions on Lake Superior, and; shooting and wounding children riding on all terrain vehicles near his home. Following the malicious and false reports he made last year, one thing seems certain: Mark Morgan appears to be decompensating, rapidly.
Those acquainted with Morgan have shown concern and alarm for his well being, and the well being of those around him. Morgan claims he was also investigated for severely beating his own elderly father. Indeed, several people who know him well have remarked, "it is time for involuntary commitment." We hope Mark Morgan is able to find peace of mind, soon, -- for his own sake, and for the sake of his multiple victims.
Quiet Reigns in Saanich, BC
Peace and Tranquility prevail on 14.275 mHZ as Karol Madera, VE7KFM visits relatives for the Christmas Season. It's no surprise. We see it year after year. Whenever Karol Madera is off the air, for any reason, there are few problems on or near the middle of the 20 meter shortwave band. Karol Madera's favorite dumping ground for obscenities, threats, and slander, is expected to remain quiet, until Madera's return.
RCMP Redux
Update #2 regarding the RCMP investigation into stalking, harassment, cyber bullying, and vandalism/criminal damage over $1,000 Canadian, in which Karol Madera, VE7KFM figures prominently: RCMP will be watching Madera closely - not as closely as he was watched during the "Mental Health Act procedure" entered into the Canada-wide police computer system by the Saanich, PD, but, closely nonetheless. Madera has been the subject of many complaints to his ISP, RCMP, Saanich PD, IC, RAC, CSIS, FCC, FBI, and others. Madera maintains his complete innoncence, while libeling and slandering others continuously, calling on Al Qaida to blow up Americans, and asking various and sundry anonymous men to "suck him off" on a frequent basis.
Apparently Mr. Madera was somewhat annoyed by RCMP's attention, as the report from RCMP mentioned that he hung up the telephone in mid-sentence during his questioning, after raving about something resembling a wide ranging conspiracy.
Thankfully, there are excellent medications available for people suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, persecutory delusions, and assorted paraphilias. Canada's socialized medicine programs even offer care to those who are unemployed, under investigation, and those who don't pay their taxes on time, or at all.
Todd Daugherty -- Frustrated and Obscene
Karol Madera's good friend, Todd Daugherty appears to be having an issue with his blogger account. Apparently he's upset that his account is still blocked by Google from casual access, while other blogs which parody Daugherty's troubles with the FAA, FBI, FCC, Taylorville Police, Internet Providers, and his local library, are allowed to flower and proliferate. Ed Oswald -- Trying to Write
Meanwhile, another good friend of Karol Madera's has encountered "employment difficulties" with his former employer. Ed Oswald, whose radio callsign is W3DUMB (the 'm' is silent) wrote about his unexpected parting of the ways (firing) on his blog, 'Bits and Bytes' -- which is a name confusingly similar to this site.
Similarities, misuse, plagiarism, fraudulent expenses, trademark issues, and all speculation aside, Oswald writes that BetaNews is now his former employer. Former PC World editor, and prolific book author, Ed Bott, mentioned Oswald's lackluster reporting in 2005. Bott is a real technology expert, featured at ZDNet, who also has a boatload of books to his name. Bott wrote, regarding Oswald, "Remind me not to take BetaNews too seriously from now on, if this is the quality of their reporters." Many agreed with Bott's assessment. We certainly did. BetaNews finally gave Oswald the boot, and now it's time to welcome BetaNews back to the world of credible reporting.
We applaud BetaNews for improving the quality of their staff in this forthright manner, but still, we wonder... what took them so long?
Oswald wrote that he could not disclose details, and that he was struggling to make the separation an amicable one. "Welcome to hell," Oswald wrote. "I've been unemployed since 9/15.. collecting since 10/1." Apparently Oswald's transition at BetaNews was more 'abrupt' than he anticipated. "Old job even **** me out of the transition they were supposed to give me from full-time to freelance."
Oswald continued... "Got a bunch of freelance jobs strung together but I am taking about a 40% pay cut right now. Nothing full-time is out there right now.. or you're applying with at least 2-3 dozen others...sigh. I'm just hoping i find something substantial before (unemployment compensation) UC runs out."
Oswald expressed some nervousness about his employment situation, writing, "Going on 3 months with like 2 leads is making me awful nervous."
With writing of this caliber, we're amazed Ed Oswald, Jr. lost his job in the field of journalism. Although, none of those associated with the Center for Media Studies has ever been on the dole, and we would prefer to take one or more menial jobs like "cart pusher" or "flea market vendor" or even "Law Society Reject" before accepting a handout, we do wish Ed all the best, and we hope he finds meaningful work, soon. Ed also mentioned that he was attempting to write for a Canadian publication about his knowledge and expertise in ham radio. If true, we speculate such a venture would yield a very short article, indeed.
Ed (former KB3JGU) was honest in the past about the extent of his close friendship with Karol Madera, VE7KFM. Recently, however, it seems Ed would like to re-write history. For example, who could forget Ed's willing participation in Karol Madera's Yahoo defamation group, which was removed for hate speech?
Regardless of Ed's ongoing support for Karol Madera, we're willing to let bygones be bygones and chalk Ed's irrational behavior up to youth, inexperience, naivete, and/or gross stupidity. In the future, we hope Ed can stick to the facts, rather than repeat and augment Karol Madera's slander and libel, as he did throughout 2007 and 2008. As famed Editor, Ed Bott wrote, when he lectured Oswald about factual errors and mixing ads with content, "They teach you that in Journalism 1."
We have no hard feelings, and we hope Ed's ongoing employment difficulties resolve before his government sponsored handout expires. In particular, we don't wish any undue burden placed on Ed's grandmother (with whom he resides) with regard to Ed's continued maintenance and upkeep.
We realize snow boarding and new rims for an old VW are costly items, requiring a real paycheck, especially when one is hovering around the age of 30 -- even if you do live with Grandma. Note to Ed: You may wish to consider an alternative field of endeavor, like the Fast Food industry. Is Howdy Doodys hiring? At any rate, Happy New Year, Ed.... Enjoy your fruitcake.

As promised, here is an update on the ongoing investigation regarding harassment, stalking, and vandalism/criminal damage over $1,000 now taking place in Canada.
According to well placed sources in the Canadian government, the Canadian Police information Computer (CPIC) has a record of a "mental health act procedure" regarding Karol Madera, which was submitted by the Saanich police. This is no suprise, as we have consistently maintained the opinion that Karol Madera is a raving lunatic. The record exists in the CPIC, which is available to duly authorized personnel, throughout Canada (and elsewhere) when applicable.
Interestingly, there is also a notation in the CPIC regarding Madera, which was filed by the Canada Revenue Agency. Apparently, back taxes owed, and the collection thereof, have been an ongoing problem with certain parties residing in Saanich. Obtaining sufficient cash flow while ranting obscenely over amateur radio on a daily basis may be problematic in that regard. Enough said.
Regarding the disclosure of the "mental health act procedure" which relates to Karol Madera: We have no wish to unduly embarass Mr. Madera. He embarasses himself enough. Therefore, we won't go into graphic detail.
We trust that anyone listening to 14.275 since December, 2005, can make a justifiable supposition about the contents in Madera's file. Simply read Madera's bizarre and unbalanced webpage (if you can stomach it) bearing in mind the principles of neurotic projection, and then apply the content of Madera's page to Karol Madera. In other words, what he says about others, applies DIRECTLY to him. If you'd like a certified copy of the report, please contact us.
A few words about Karol Madera's mental health records online: Ordinarily, notice of a disclosure of this kind is mailed to the last known address of the individual the information is about, unless the responsible party of the public body considers that giving this notice could harm someone's health or safety. In other words, if the party of the first part is already stalking and harassing the party of the second part, then informing the party of the first part that his mental health records have been analyzed, discussed, and disseminated, is not generally considered a "best clinical practice." Mark Morgan, Todd Daugherty, and Other Assorted Lunatics
After this discussion of mental health (or lack thereof) it is probably appropriate to mention Madera's latest cohorts, Todd Daugherty (N9OGL), and Mark Morgan (KB9RQZ). Once again, upon reading the "collected works," of the aforementioned parties, the terms, "psychotic" ; "person requiring treatment" ; and, "crazy as a bedbug" may leap to mind. If so, congratulations. You are among the overwhelming majority, and it's doubtful you will be involuntarily transported to a mental health facility in the near future. We wish we could say the same about Madera, Daugherty, and Morgan.
Morgan, in particular, spends much of his time ruining newsgroups, flooding them with thousands of messages. Morgan employs a kind of incoherent babble-speak which requires an interpreter and a cryptologist to decipher. At last count, the number of newsgroups Morgan has spammed is over 400 with over 4,000 of the same inane, repetitive posts. These numbers correlate to just ONE of Morgan's posting accounts! Morgan gives new meaning to the term "brain damage." It has been widely reported (by Morgan) that information exists which states he was involuntarily transported to a hospital in Marquette, MI, in 2004, for psychiatric evaluation and treatment. We are not surprised, since Morgan and Madera are currently involved in a kind of folie a deux where they co-manage at least two libelous blogs about individuals with whom they share a mutual obsessive interest.
We are surprised that no similar mental health report has (as yet) surfaced about Todd E. Daugherty, N9OGL. Daugherty has been twice warned by the FCC, and he has been visited by the FBI. Daugherty is banned (like Morgan and Madera) from most polite discussion forums, for obvious reasons. Daugherty's chief obsession seems to be animated Japanese depictions of underaged children being raped and tortured by adults. His relationship with Morgan and Madera makes perfect sense. Madera asks al Qaida to place roadside bombs into the recta of his perceived enemies, while Morgan is a self-admitted "kinky bisexual, into bondage, domination, and sado-masochism (BDSM)."
Todd Daugherty is a cart pusher at the Taylorville, IL Wal-Mart. Following death threats against various individuals and agencies, he has complained bitterly that there is an ongoing effort to have him fired from his position. Daugherty's latest hope is that he will become a licensed pilot. May God and his Saints protect us.

Karol Madera attempts to retaliate against complainants by publishing a malicious, deceptive, and obscene web page in which he defames some 100 people who have filed complaints about his activities. Madera's slander, libel, and bizarre conspiracy theories about homosexual stalkers are completely baseless. His so-called 'testimonials' are fraudulent, augmented, altered, out of context misquotes, offered and/or fabricated by proven identity thieves, criminals, pedophiles, and a few notable dimwits.
Radio operators everywhere, please note:
To date, no U.S. or Canadian amateur radio station has ever received legal sanctions for ignoring and talking over Karol Madera, VE7KFM, while otherwise adhering to U.S. and/or Canadian rules.
U.S. and Canadian officials have successfully ignored Karol Madera for years, and we are happy to report that interference to Karol Madera is not a violation of FCC rules. Under 47CFR97.3(23), "Harmful Interference" is defined as any communication that seriously degrades, obstructs or repeatedly interrupts a radio communication service operating in accordance with the Radio Regulations.
Therefore, whenever Karol Madera, VE7KFM, calls on al Qaida to murder Americans; when he slanders others; when he uses indecent, obscene, and profane speech; when he transmits false distress signals; when he broadcasts solicitations for homosexual intercourse; and, when he engages in activities which degrade, obstruct, or interrupt legitimate communications, his transmissions may be classified as "harmful interference" under the FCC's Part 97 rules. Sources of harmful interference (like Karol Madera's transmissions) enjoy no protection under U.S. law and you are under no legal obligation to treat such transmissions as legitimate communications under U.S. law. Other Opinions:
There are literally thousands of negative comments about Karol Madera, VE7KFM, and his deranged, criminal companions, at dozens of different websites. Even the satirical Urban Dictionary featured a definition of VE7KFM.
Jim Laursen, at Industry Canada's office on Vancouver Island, has referred to Madera's comments as "stupid, mean spirited, and in poor taste." We have many of Laursen's quotes about Madera on file, and we'll have more of Laursen's comments when his office stops stonewalling our Canadian friend's freedom of information act request(s).
At a convention hosting approximately 20,000 people, FCC Special Counsel, Riley Hollingsworth, Esq., referred to Madera as a Fruitcake, which perfectly captures Madera's apparent insanity as well as his apparently latent and overt homosexuality. Hollingsworth also mentioned that no one takes him seriously. He called Madera's behavior "an international problem."
In retrospect, since the term "fruitcake" often has mental health implications, e.g., 'nuttier than a fruitcake,' Hollingsworth may have been privy to information pertaining to the "mental health act procedure" in Canada's Police Computer System, regarding Karol Madera. If so, he never mentioned it, aside from referring to Madera as "several french fries short of a Happy Meal" and remarking that the Canadian's consider him a "fruitcake, whose elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor."
An attorney who defeated Madera in court indicated that Madera was best ignored, since no one in his right mind would pay attention to anything Madera has to say.
Chief Justice McEachern, who presided over Madera's failed effort to gain entrance to the British Columbia Law Society, said, "Very full and complete particulars including the names of witnesses were given and original statements or affidavits were furnished. With respect to many of the particulars given by counsel for the Law Society the conduct to be inquired into was very specifically described." Madera was never allowed into the Law Society, and he failed in his bid to become a lawyer.
Karol Madera is a proven (and self-described) liar and fraud, as well as a bigot and racist who is closely associated with a criminal fringe element. Therefore, we believe posting a link to his defamatory webpage would represent a disservice to our readership and to the dozens libeled by Madera. However, as a matter of fairness, opposing viewpoints can be found at the webpages of Karol Madera's supporters, Todd Daugherty (N9OGL) and Mark Morgan (KB9RQZ).
