VE7KFM -- Credibility: Zero. Karol Madera has quoted completely fictional characters on his web page, using their statements as what he calls, unsolicited testimonials.
Because Madera has no credibility, he publishes stories made up by fictional characters. He does this in order to persuade careless readers into believing an endless parade of lies.
Internet forums are fraudulently infiltrated by Madera's cohorts. His friends steal other people's identities in order to post defamation about those Madera wishes to defame. Whitney Tritch, N3ZV, was caught doing this on Madera's behalf, as was Joe Italiano, Todd Daugherty, and Mark Morgan, to name a few. Madera then shamelessly quotes these bogus comments as if they were posted by real persons. This is clear cut evidence of Madera's incredible desperation and unfailing dedication to fraud.
What do we mean by 'fictional characters?' Madera hosts quotations pulled from various radio and Internet forums which have been decisively proven to have been written by identity thieves and/or non-existent persons. Statements on Madera's fraudulent pages were completely fabricated solely for the purpose of defamation. Statements were edited, twisted, culled, and contorted into lies to fit his purposes.
All of the callsigns below were positively identified by system administrators to have been taken over by identity thieves who were subsequently banned from posting -- and Karol Madera knows this -- yet in typically fraudulent fashion, he blithely quotes these statements as if they were genuine testimonials.

Madera also quotes the following bogus sources: Official Observer; Publisher; QRZdotCOM; Brian's Owner; Willie; Tea Todeler; Jean LaCroix; Robw; Bean Picker; KKKarol; US Patriot; Mike95874; hamtourettes.com; NoMoreTrolls; zitazoid; Populist; EggnogChugaluger; Fox Smith; Leo Winter (deceased at the time of the quote); RadioBob92121; PlankEye; QRZ.com insider; and dozens of others.
In addition to using fraudulent sources, Madera also lists so-called 'Warning Letters' which Madera quoted as appearing on the ARRL website, which in fact, do not even exist.

When challenged, Madera includes the ARRL in his delusional conspiracies, calling the links "fraudulently misdirected."
When not quoting fictional sources, defaming innocents, stalking women and children, and twisting unrelated statements to his purpose, Madera spends time fabricating fictitious and malicious tales of his own. The verifiable statements on his page come from documented criminals, pedophiles, psychopaths, frauds, dimwits, and former and current inmates. That's why we call Karol Madera, 'A World Class Liar.'
Madera calls himself "Comandante Carlos" and the signature line on his webpage says "Viva Madero [reportedly a distant relation], Villa y Zapata. Viva la Revolucion!"
Madera is not Hispanic. Far from it. He is an immigrant from Poland. The surname Madera comes from a Czech cognate which means, literally, the Hungarian.
Brandon Duke is a young criminal who served time in jail related to Internet fraud and theft. Madera recruited him, and at this point (Fall, 2010) Duke is awaiting trial for attempted murder of a police officer. Like several others who were duped, used, and then discarded, Brandon Duke now says he deeply regrets his association with Karol Madera.
Madera also cultivated the friendship of Dr. Joseph Goldberg, who was recently Warned by the FCC about illegal use of radio frequencies that could result in a $10,000 fine.
Notorious jammer, David Castle, was another Madera recruit who lost his FCC license, permanently.
Donald Anderson was apprehended and arrested for the possession of nine pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute. He said he murdered children in Cambodia and once spent 3 days in an opium den. He is yet another person who now regrets his association with Karol Madera.
Glenn Baxter, Madera's one-time radio co-host, was fined $21,000 for various infractions of Part 97. Baxter said Madera tried to embroil him in a standoff with a federal Swat Team.
Mark Morgan is a self-described ally of Madera. Morgan made false reports of child abuse to seven different jurisdictions against witnesses who made complaints in the Madera case.
Sidney Mahan (deceased) is another Madera recruit who was cited by the FCC for extreme racism, obscenity, profanity, and jamming. Prior to his death, Mahan aided Madera in jamming 14.275 and 14.272 for months at a time.
Whitney Tritch, N3ZV befriended Karol Madera. Tritch has repeated Madera's defamation for years. Tritch was warned by the US Attorney's office concerning illegal computer intrusion. This, following Tritch's illegal entry into a password protected computer system for the purpose of posting defamation.
Tritch also lied about his military career, painting himself as a combat soldier who jumped out of aircraft 123 times, claiming 32.5 kills. Tritch also told a federal agent he was shot in the head while aboard on a submarine in enemy waters. His actual job was "intercom technician" aboard the G.W. Carver. Whitney Tritch is a fraud and a liar - but he does have a very active imagination.
Todd Daugherty was twice Warned by the FCC regarding his radio station operation. Daugherty was investigated by the FBI for making threats against a ten year old boy. Daugherty also said the FBI was very interested in his art collection, which featured graphic images of children being raped and dismembered. Madera has encouraged, aided, and mentored Todd Daugherty for years. In 2010 Daugherty was charged and convicted of criminal harassment as a result of his association with Madera.
David Tolassi, WA1BHV is also a Madera recruit. According to a sworn affidavit by a federal agent, he threatened to shoot the FCC Special Counsel for Amateur Enforcement and another man at the 2007 Dayton Hamvention. In February, 2009, Tolassi again threatened property damage against a complainant in the Madera case.
Madera has continually harassed the FCC's Laura Smith and Riley Hollingsworth, (Ret'd) of the FCC, calling them unmentionable names, slandering and libeling them and telling the most bizarre, lies about them. For the most part it appears that they ignore Madera unless his stalking and threats require that they contact police officials.
Now, let's review some of Karol Madera's outrageous lies and ridiculous fabrications.
A Case in Point
Madera hosts a webpage with a collection of lies, defamation, and harassment. "My website is essentially reactive" he says "a result of people using my callsign in an Internet page against me." Madera's propaganda was published in Poland in 2003. This page appeared 3 years later.
Here's the link to Madera's first Internet page. Note the copyright of 2003. Madera also published his views at K1MAN.com and on a number of other pages, prior to 2003. All were removed when their owners realized Madera is an extremely unbalanced liar.
On our recordings page, you can hear Madera advocate eugnenics, sterilization, euthanasia, lobotomies, and other notable Nazi principles and goals. On these pages, you'll also hear Madera discuss "hook nose, swarthy, cheap Jews" and "rabbi terrorists". Invariably, if Madera accuses another of a crime, it turns out to be true -- about MADERA.
Madera calls others childish and defamatory names, usually beginning with the label criminal or homosexual. However, Madera provides no evidence, no links to official documents, no indictments, no court cases, no proofs, nothing whatsoever to support his bizarre statements. In point of fact, no one Madera has defamed has ever been found guilty of any wrongdoing by any agency of law enforcement anywhere.
In contrast, Karol Madera lives in a garage-like shack with faded and peeling paint. The only tangible testament to Madera's "success" in life is a rusty, rotting, mildew-covered, 30 year old automobile, parked near Madera's shack, which itself is precariously perched at the edge of a four lane highway. The shack is dominated by an antenna that overhangs his neighbor's property. Madera is not gainfully employed. He frequently engages in hours-long tirades, while freely admitting he is under the influence of alcohol. Madera was rejected in his bid to become a lawyer in Canada and tossed out of the Victoria Real Estate Board. He is currently the most poorly regarded radio operator in all of Canada. All of this is well documented.
In the absence of any proof against those he defames, we must conclude that Karol Florian Madera, of 3040 Tillicum Road, Saanich, British Columbia, is indeed 'A World Class Liar.'
Now, let's look at a few of Madera's garden variety lies.
"I advanced myself in rank...several ranks actually." Officer and a gentleman? How about liar and thief?. Listen here
"They made fraudulent attempts to affect my amateur licence." There have been many complaints made, but we have seen no evidence that any complaint was "fraudulent."
Madera was recorded as he threatened to physically assault the United States Ambassador to Canada. He denies it, yet dozens heard him do it.
"I have an email." Madera read an email purportedly from John, in Dixon, Illinois. John is widely known as the founder of hi-fi SSB audio. John reports he has never emailed Madera. Further, he had no idea who Madera was, until he heard this recording.
"My Minister told me..." Minister Maxime Bernier told me to tell him to mange la merde. The Minister for Industry Canada denied giving Madera any such message.
"I can't hear you George!" Madera was caught using Skype to speak with George Zardecki while pretending to converse with Zardecki over the air. Despite being able to hear Zardecki perfectly well (through his computer speakers) he lied, telling Zardecki (over the air) "I had some trouble copying you George..."
"My Chief of police stands to attention when he sees me." In fact, the Police have registered Madera in the Canadadian Police Computer System (CPIC) as someone with serious mental health issues. The longer we listen, the more ridiculous Madera becomes.
"I have been commissioned by Canada to restore the airwaves to some semblance of normalcy." Commissioned? Ridiculous.
"Riley got the boot because of me." Riley Hollingsworth's retirement had nothing to do with Karol Madera.
"Dan Jeswald is jamming me." Madera actually said this on air, despite the fact that Jeswald was recovering from open heart surgery in the intensive care unit of his local hospital at the very moment Madera accused him of jamming.
"They fraudulently embroiled Glenn (K1MAN) with the FCC, and by the end of 2005, they effectively drove him out of the 20 meter Band." Another pathetic lie. The FCC had been receiving complaints about Glenn Baxter since 1985. The FCC used their own monitoring evidence to levy a fine of $21,000 against Baxter.
On his web page, Madera has posted a picture of two individuals. In reality, the picture contains Jeff Bauder and Myrlen Smith, not the men he claims. Although the fraud was pointed out to Madera over 3 years ago, it remains on his web page.
Madera identifies someone named DeLorean. Another lie. See: Delorean, aka Brent Hamm, tells Madera to return his "junior detective kit" for a refund!
Madera said, "VE7KFM.com is a fraud, written as if by me." Quite the contrary, http://ve7kfm.com is accurate and it's obviously about Madera, not by him.
"They admitted telephone harassment!" Madera hosts a sound clip. Two men laugh (uproariously) at Madera's on air stupidities, but neither man admitted "telephone harassment."
"So and So is Queer!" Madera constantly projects his own sexual preferences onto others. Madera is a single male living alone; a misogynist, known throughout the world for his homophobic, sadomasochistic diatribes about "sucking off" other men and "penetrating their rectums" with large objects. Please.
"Look what Leo said!" Madera actually printed a "testimonial" from a Florida physician named Leo Winter, who had been deceased at least four years before Madera claimed he wrote the testimonial. After the fraud was discovered on Madera's webpage, he blamed the quote on others.
"These are unsolicited testimonials!" Not exactly. A young man named Brandon Duke had plenty to say about Madera's solicitations. Madera has done plenty of soliciting and not all of Madera's attention has been focused on 14 year old girls.
"They furnished fraudulent evidence to the Professional Engineering board regarding Glenn Baxter." Wrong again. The complaint resulted in Glenn Baxter being cautioned by the Professional Engineering board after 3 formal hearings before Maine's Assistant Attorney General.
"I'm not anti-American!" No, of course not... Madera just thinks "American's need to be taught a lesson", and to suffer, by experiencing al Qaida's roadside bombs. He also said the Virginia Tech massacre was "a good start."
"I'm more of a lawyer than you are." False. Madera is not lawyer and has never been a lawyer. Madera was not admitted to the Bar (for obvious reasons) and once again, for the sake of clarity, Karol Madera is NOT now, nor has he ever been a lawyer.
"Fred Lloyd said..." No. Fred Lloyd never said any such thing.
"They have over the past 2+ years mis-appropriated my identity [and that of others] numerous times and even runs several ‘spoofy’ and highly defamatory and FRAUDulent websites against me—which to the uninitiated are expressly designed to look ‘as if mine’…." This is laughable; even a casual reader can tell the difference between this site, with its reasoned, orderly, facts, and Madera's site, consisting of the irrational lamentations of a decompensated personality. Once again, no proof, just a ridiculous, repetitive rant.
"A mere shadow of this Website was initially started on Yahoo! GeoCities in the Fall of 2006... the Website was FRAUDulently taken down...." Wrong. Yahoo took the website down because it contained hate speech. He forgot to mention that his second and third Yahoo websites, were also taken down by Yahoo for hate speech. Now, only his demented partner in crime, Whitney Tritch, N3ZV, maintains a Yahoo group, where he apparently talks to himself.
Someone called Karol Madera's website “a site by a moron for morons.” However, on his page, Madera turned the statement around 180 degrees and claimed the person was discussing this website!
Madera has begun pulling psychiatric classifications out of the dictionary without the slightest training in the matter. He unethically and with intent to defame, ascribes mental diseases to others. He was recently reported to Canadian authorities for practicing medicine and law, without a license.
In 2008, Congress launched a probe of FCC practices with regard to spectrum auctions. Madera took credit for the probe and promised heads would roll at the FCC. Madera was referred to as a "fruitcake" by the retired FCC Special Counsel, Riley Hollingsworth.
